Strymon Lex Rotary Speaker Simulator Pedal V2 - New
In brief: Rotary Speaker Simulator Pedal with 6-knob Interface, Mic Position Switch, Ramp Speed Switch, and Slow/Fast Footswitch
The Strymon Lex V2 is a rotary speaker simulator pedal that captures the depth and dynamic sound of a vintage rotary speaker in a modern format. It builds on the success of the original Lex pedal, offering additional settings and player-focused features. The pedal features controls for Speed, Preamp Drive, Horn Level, and Mic Distance, as well as new controls for Volume and Dry to fine-tune the rotary sound. It also offers secondary features such as defining the cab direction, adjusting the slow rotor speed, and controlling the acceleration time.
The Lex V2 incorporates a top-quality JFET input circuit for enhanced responsiveness, dynamics, and feel. It provides options for mono and stereo operation, with the ability to control the pedal via an expression pedal or MultiSwitch Plus. The introduction of a new ARM DSP chip increases processing power while reducing energy consumption, resulting in a clearer and more accurate tone.
With its easily accessible parameter controls, additional features, and improved core components, the Strymon Lex V2 delivers an authentic rotary speaker simulation that captures the enchanting swirling sound of a rotating Leslie speaker. Whether you're a gigging performer or a touring professional, the Lex V2 provides a versatile and high-quality solution for incorporating the iconic rotary speaker tone into your playing.
