The PAF 36th Anniversary Bridge humbucker is designed to replicate the characteristics of great vintage humbuckers. It features a soft magnetic field, a sweet tone, a balance between warmth and clarity, and the ability to transition from clean to distorted tones with pick attack. These pickups are not clones but have been re-engineered using patented technology and Larry DiMarzio's 1959 Gibson Les Paul as a reference. The weak magnetic field allows strings to vibrate longer and provides articulate output. Computer-controlled winders layer custom-coated wire for precise frequency response, and a custom formula eliminates noise. The pickup is available in various configurations, including bobbin style, base type, and cable type. It's suitable for both neck and bridge positions, with the bridge model being hotter and versatile for different guitar types. It offers a blend of qualities from Virtual PAF and Virtual Hot PAF pickups, with enhanced loudness, low-end and midrange definition, and smooth highs. It can also be split into a bright single-coil mode.
